Are getting married!
SEPTEMBER 22, 2018 IN SAN FRANCISCO
Bride & Groom
Annie Lausier
Born in Maine and raised in North Carolina, Annie studied computer science and digital media before moving out to California.
Everything changed the night her grad school friend Will invited her to a party where she met Michael. She knew he was different when he took her on a fun day trip to Santa Cruz in their first month of dating.
When she's not busy building products at Silicon Valley startups, you can find her going on adventures with Michael, enjoying a good cup of coffee, and hanging out with her cats.
Michael Chrien
Born in Ohio and raised in Texas, Michael grew up loving science, tech, and video games. After studying computer science and working on flight simulators, Michael shipped out to California to work at Electronic Arts.
Over one of their traditional New Year's trips adventures—this time in 2016—Michael led Annie up to Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park in Northern California to pop the question. She answered an ecstatic and overwhelming "yes!"
Michael loves hiking and biking his way around the bay, flight and train simulators, and a good brewery.
The Big Day
Wedding Ceremony
The rustic Log Cabin was built in the 1930s as an officers' club in the former military fort of the Presidio, a stone's throw from the Golden Gate bridge.
The ceremony will be held on the lawn overlooking the city. Dress is semi-casual. Beware of a potential visit from Karl the Fog.

Immediately after the ceremony, join us for cocktail hour on the patio.
Shortly after, we'll enjoy dinner and dancing inside the beautiful and cozy Log Cabin.

Hotels
Since our wedding falls during peak tourist season in San Francisco, we have secured some courtesy blocks of rooms at a few hotels in Fisherman’s Wharf. Please don't feel obligated to stay at the hotels we picked - we just wanted to ensure that guests at least have some guaranteed accommodations if they want them. Be aware that San Francisco is a dense city, so expect slightly smaller or more "unique" layouts wherever you decide to stay.
Sheraton Fisherman’s Wharf Hotel
2500 Mason St, San Francisco, CA 94133
For a more standard hotel, we have a block of rooms at the Sheraton Fisherman’s Wharf Hotel. They are in the process of remodeling their rooms, and should be completed several months before our wedding.
Annie Lausier & Michael Chrien Wedding Block
Hotel Zephyr
250 Beach St, San Francisco, CA 94133
For a hipper experience, across the street from the Sheraton (and at the same price point), we have a courtesy block at the Hotel Zephyr. The Hotel Zephyr features a large outdoor courtyard and game room, as well as modern nautical chic.
Annie & Michael Chrien Wedding Block
San Remo Hotel
2237 Mason St, San Francisco, CA 94133
Lastly, for the budget traveler or those who want a more unique hotel experience, we have rooms at the historic San Remo Hotel. Several blocks down the street from the Sheraton, the Hotel San Remo is roughly halfway between Fisherman's Wharf and North Beach. Built in 1907, the hotel has shared bathrooms and no elevator, but is elegantly and uniquely decorated in a style reminiscent of old Victorian San Francisco.
